87 of Elizabeth passed away July 29, 2010 in Eagle Pointe
Nursing Home.
A tribute to the life of Ms. Evans will be 3:00 PM Saturday
July 31, 2010 at the Guthrie Cemetery. The family will
receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Otis Lee Parrish, 25 of Nitro passed away July
25, 2010 in Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Otis is a graduate of Nitro High School and attended Harvest
Time Fellowship.
He is survived by his parents Leo and Adaline Parrish of
Nitro; brother Leo Parrish, Jr. of Nitro; sisters Misty
Miller of Garrets Bend, Doreen Moore of Charleston and
Annette Hively of St. Albans.
A tribute to the life of Otis Lee Parrish will be 11:00 AM
Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home
Chapel with Bob Sigman officiating. Burial will follow in
New Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends one
hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Mr. Charles W. Kent, 79 of Poca
departed this life on July 24, 2010.
He was born July1, 1931 in Dawes, Kanawha County to the late
James Rubin Kent and Cassie Jones Kent. He was also
preceded in death by his daughter Linda Faria.
He was in the U. S. Navy and the Korean War and belonged to
the VFW. He was a sheet metal worker of 30 years and
belonged to Local # 502 in Charleston. He was retired from
the City of St. Albans. He belonged to the Auxiliary
Fraternal Order of Police in Tiverton, RI. A charter member
of the St. Albans Jr. Chamber of Commerce, the St. Albans
Moose Lodge and the St. Albans West Side Fire Department. He
was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church in St.
Albans.
He is survived by his wife Dorcas Kent; son Mark Kent of
Fall River, Mass; daughter Christine Leimert of Tiverton,
RI; daughter Diane Enos of Tiverton, RI and step daughter
Mary Stevenson of Oconomowoc, WI; six grandchildren and two
great grandchildren.
A tribute to the life of Mr. Charles W. Kent will be 7:00 PM
Tuesday July 27, 2010 at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel
with Pastors Stephen J. White and Michael Derry
officiating. Following the services Mr. Kent will be
cremated and his urn will be placed in a niche at Haven of
Rest Memory Gardens and Crematorium, Red House. The family
will receive friends 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
